College is expensive! Before you invest thousands (or hundreds of thousands) of dollars for college, let’s make sure you are positioned to receive the best college experience, at the least possible cost, in the shortest length of time.

As a College Readiness Coach, I’m equipped to help you do just that!

College Fit & Selection

It’s important to pinpoint the type of learning environment that is most conducive to your success. Completion of the Myers-Briggs and Career Assessments will assist in this process. Additional guidance is provided for the following activities:

  • Identify majors that are aligned with career interests

  • Discover the learning environment that will help you to thrive

  • Formulate a list of colleges that are a good fit - academically and financially

  • Prepare for productive college visits

Student Positioning

An honest assessment of where you are and where you need to be for admission into your preferred college(s) is imperative. This includes:

  • Your GPA’s (weighted & unweighted)

  • High school course selection

  • Standardized Test results

  • Extracurricular Activities

  • Service Work

If there are any areas that need improvement, we will work together to create a plan with specific and attainable goals, action steps and deadlines.

College Application

Your application is YOU! An admissions officer will “draw a picture” of you based on what they read. This is detail oriented, so special attention is given in the following areas:

  • Identify application deadlines and prioritize activities accordingly

  • Review applications for accuracy

  • Review your activities / extracurricular descriptions

  • Review all essays for clarity, impression and authenticity

Attending the right college for the right reason could make a world of difference in your college experience.

Don’t underestimate the power of College Fit!
